The matching conditioner. A vegan, sulfate-free rinse-out built to soften dry hair and cut down on tangles, using coconut oil, shea butter, and avocado oil.

Who this is for

Anyone using the Moisturizing Shampoo, and anyone whose hair snarls or feels rough when wet. It fits dry, normal, or damaged hair that needs real conditioning, not just a quick rinse.

Who should skip it

Fine or oily hair that flattens easily may find coconut oil, shea butter, and avocado oil together too rich for regular use. Applying it to the ends only, or skipping a wash between uses, works better for that hair type.

If someone needs a leave-in for styling, this isn't it. This is a rinse-out step in the shower, not a product meant to stay in.

How a stylist uses it

Apply after shampooing, focused on mid-shaft to ends rather than the scalp. Let it sit for a couple of minutes while the rest of the shower happens, then rinse. If detangling is the goal, work a wide-tooth comb through while the conditioner is still in. Hair is more pliable wet and coated than it is dry.

How it compares

Against a drugstore rinse-out conditioner: the formula skips sulfates and parabens and is vegan. The oils doing the actual work, coconut, shea, and avocado, are the same category of ingredient found in richer conditioners regardless of price point.

Against skipping conditioner entirely: for hair that's already dry or damaged, skipping this step is usually where breakage and tangling come from. This is the step most people under-do, not over-do.

What to expect

Easier detangling right away, and softer hair with repeated use. It won't repair split ends. What it does is cut down on the breakage that comes from fighting knots and rough cuticle.

The tradeoff: used too heavy-handed, or applied at the roots, it can leave fine hair looking limp. Less product, ends only, is the fix.

Price and value note

Same range as the shampoo, $5.99 to $56.99 depending on size. Starting with the smallest size is a reasonable way to confirm it works before sizing up.
